Our Rustic Western Red Cedar doors can be stained or painted.

They include a 2x structural wood frame, smooth ¾” rustic (knotty) western red cedar v-groove, and ¾” clear western red cedar face boards. Interior stain grade skin is standard. These doors are available in our four section tall design, and our unique three section tall design which allows for significantly taller glass height. Other options include arched top and glass top sections.

Rustic western red cedar presents a more rustic appearance with tight knots, burls and other natural occurring markings which are fairly uniform in distribution. When desired, rustic red cedar adds more character to the garage door.  It is a highly revered, durable wood that is naturally resistant to rot, decay and insect attacks, which means it will last longer and require less maintenance than other woods.

Western Red Cedar is pitch and resin-free. Which means it’s ideal for accepting and holding a wide range of beautiful finishes including elegant dark stains, shabby chic bleaches, traditional solid paint colors and naturally beautiful semi-transparent stains.
